An image has been released in connection with an investigation into an assault on an officer which took place at Poulton-le-Fylde station.
The image of the man was released on the 21st of December 2021, with members of the public are being asked to get in touch if they recognise the man.
The incident took place at Poulton-le-Fylde station just after 11pm on Thursday the 16th of December as a police officer was attending an incident at the station.
As the officer made their way down the stairs, a man got in his way and grabbed hold of the officer and started pushing him, shortly after, the man released the officer and ran from the station. The officer suffered scratches and cuts to both his arm and face following the incident.
Officer think that the man in the CCTV image could have information that might help with their investigation.
