The event will take place on the concourse of Worcester Foregate Street on Thursday the 25th of November, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
The event is part of the West Midlands Railways (WMR) ‘Whistle Stop Tour’ which gives the public the chance to talk directly to managers about WMR services and also to support creating a better railway by getting vital feedback from passengers.
Jonny Wiseman, customer experience director for WMR, said:
“We know our passengers in Worcester have suffered too many short-notice cancellations as we continue to feel the knock-on impact of the pandemic on our driver training programme.”
“That’s why our team are keen to meet as many people as possible face-to-face so we can answer questions and explain how we plan to get the service back on track.”
Following the pandemic, services on routes travelling via Birmingham Snow Hill and including services both to and from Worcester are being impacted by driver shortages, reduced capacity and reliability for passengers.
WMR are hoping to reassure passengers at the event that they are doing everything possible to rectify this situation.
