Steam locomotive LMS Jubilee No. 45699 Galatea, in the disguise of 45562 Alberta, will be on the mainline this Sunday, 24th October 2021, as it heads to Derby as part of a railtour from Preston.
The train will depart Preston at 10:13 and will pass through Wigan North Western (10:35), Eccles (11:06), Manchester Victoria (11:19), Guide Bridge (11:45), New Mills Central (12:43), Edale (13:04), Hathersage (13:15), Grindleford (13:20), Sheffield (13:37), Chesterfield (14:23), Alfreton (14:38), Langley Mill (14:46), Spondon (15:11) and Derby at 15:16.
After servicing, steam loco 45562 Alberta will depart Derby at 15:26 and will then pass through Chesterfield (16:28), Hathersage (17:01), Edale (17:15), Woodley (17:47), Manchester Victoria (18:46), Eccles (19:16), Wigan North Western (19:45) and Preston at 20:12.
