Greater Anglia has launched a special autumn “Hare Fares” offer, with a number of seats available at a reduced price.

There are 50,000 seats available, with single tickets from just £5 adults and £1 children. The tickets cover journeys across the network to and from London, including routes from Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, and Southend Victoria.

Tickets can only be bought online or via the app, and are available for purchase between 11 and 31 October; they are valid for travel from 14 October to 21 November.

These Hare Fares are available as Standard Off-Peak Advance Tickets only.

Martin Moran, Greater Anglia’s Commercial, Customer Services and Train Presentation Director, said: “Travelling by train is cheaper than you think, and our new bargain Hare Fares mean people can travel for less this autumn.

“Our region has so much to offer and whether it’s city or coast, shopping or sightseeing, we’re giving people more money to spend on having a great time by helping them save money on their train fare.

“Hare Fares can be purchased throughout half term too, so families can enjoy great days out. Greater Anglia has a range of great value fares and up to four children can travel for just £1 each way with any adult.”
