Following a closure of 18 months, the Helston Railway, in Cornwall, has begun running trains once again.
Helston Railway volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes as and when coronavirus restrictions allowed.
Work whilst the railway was closed includes a track extension up to the cutting beside the car park, where the shop and buffet are now located.
Once passengers purchase tickets in the shop, they will now walk down a new footpath beside the track to Prospidnick Halt, where the journey begins.
This year, the steam locomotive for Helston Railway journeys is restored Peckett 2000.
If you would like to visit the Helston Railway, running days and timetables can be found on the Helston Railway website.
