Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Twickenham on Saturday 24th July 2021.
The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow. 35028 is hauling ‘The Belmond British Pullman’ railtour on Saturday.
The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at approximately 12:28 pm.
The railtour will then head for Chertsey, where it will steam through Clapham Junction (12:41), Barnes (12:54), Richmond (13:02), Twickenham (13:06), Feltham (13:11), Staines (13:18), Virginia Water (13:28) and Chertsey at 13:33.
After a 10 minute break in Chertsey, 35028 Clan Line will depart at 14:48; it will then steam through Byfleet and New Haw (13:56), Woking (14:04), Guildford (14:18), Shalford (14:22), Gomshall (14:55) before passing through Redhill (15:16). The locomotive will steam back to London Victoria non-stop, steaming through East Croydon (15:40), Selhurst (15:43) and Clapham Junction (16:02).
35028 Clan Line will make its final destination of London Victoria at 16:16.
