Booking for the 2021 Santa trains at the Severn Valley Railway is now available.
Up to seven departures a day from Kidderminster will operate on selected dates from 27th November until Christmas Eve.
Passengers board at Kidderminster Town with a hot or cold drink, and a travel cup for each adult.
Onboard, mince pies and gingerbread will await passengers, and family groups will be allocated their own private compartment with plenty of photo opportunities to take advantage of.
The train will pass through Bewdley before arriving into Arley where passengers disembark for a new Christmas show: Jingle, Jangle and the North Pole Lake.
“Our professionally-produced shows last year proved to be a smash hit, so we’re doing it all over again! “ said Michael Dunn, the SVR’s head of visitor experience. “This hilarious, brand-new show will appeal to all ages and if everyone laughs loudly enough, there might even be a visit from Father Christmas himself! Performances take place inside a marquee and each family group will be seated on a socially-distanced bench.”
Once back on the train, children will find that the elves have left them a special present before its full steam ahead back to Kidderminster.
Prices start at £135 for a table of four on the two-and-a-half-hour journey. Tickets can be booked via the Severn Valley Railway website or by calling 01562 757900.
