The On-Train Real Ale Bar has returned to trains on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway recently, allowing you to soak up the sun and steam with a cool pint of your choice.
With the Coronavirus pandemic, the KWVR revised the way trains were operated and meant the bars were not available.
However, with COVID secure arrangements in place, including social distancing and face mask requirements, the bars have reopened with a large array of refreshments.
With the famous Worth Valley Gold now available, there is no better way to enjoy a steam train ride through stunning scenery whilst hearing the steam locomotive working hard up the gradient.
Not a pint fan? No need to fear as a selection of gins and other alcoholic drinks are available. Whilst great news for those that don’t drink, a large selection of cold non-alcoholic drinks are available, such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Vimto.
A selection of food is also available, allowing you to really get stuck into a pint and a bag of crisps.
New to the on-train bar is a gluten-free bottled ale from Durham Brewery.
The bar is available on trains marked with a cup and saucer on the KWVR timetables.
