Train operator Chiltern Railways have issued advice for passengers travelling to Wembley Stadium for Euro 2020 fixtures this week.
An average of an additional 8,500 seats are being provided for each game on Chiltern services to maximise space for social distancing.
However, they expect that due to the increase in capacity at Wembley Stadium, that it will not be possible to socially distance at stations or on trains.
An amended timetable is in operation along with a queueing system at Wembley Stadium Station. Passengers should check details of their planned journey before setting off. As the games do not kick-off until 20:00 there will not be any long distance travel possible after the games.
On Sunday 11th July, Chiltern will be providing longer trains to and from Wembley.
For this to happen, rail replacement buses will be in operation all day between Beaconsfield and Aylesbury Vale Parkway. Services on the London Underground between Baker Street and stations to Amersham will operate as normal.
