The Crich Tramway Village has announced that there have been a few changes with regards to trams in the workshop.
The next restoration project for the team is Blackpool Brush Railcoach 298, which has arrived back at the museum after off-site storage.
This makes the tram now ready for the restoration project to begin, which is being joint funded by the Blackpool Railcoach Fund and the Tramcar Sponsorship organisation (TSO).
Blackpool 298 will be made ready to fit onto the underframe, which is being built by The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways at Boston Lodge Works, near Porthmadog, more about that can be found here.
As part of Blackpool 298 arriving at the Museum, Derby 1 has made the same journey but in opposite as it heads into temporary storage.
