The Epping Ongar Railway based in Essex has revealed details of the steam train services they are planning to run throughout this summer.
Their diesel service will run until the 20th of June 2021 when steam services return with a special steam hauled service for Father’s Day
From the 26th June, the regular steam and diesel hauled services will run. Trains will be operating along the line every Saturday and Sunday through the summer and into October.
During the school holidays, services will also run on Fridays with a heritage bus services connecting North Weald, Ongar and Epping Underground and Shenfield stations.
Over the summer, the popular children’s event will be taking place on selected dates, with visits from Peppa Pig, Chase and Marshall and The Gruffalo.

Very interesting to see the Epping-Ongar Railway within the Spotlight Once Again… They’ve certainly been A Heritage Railway for the past 9 years now.
