Last week, Train Simulator developer, Armstrong Powerhouse, visited the Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough to record new locomotive sounds.
The recording hardware was set up on 45041 Royal Tank Regiment to record each and every sound.
There was a lot of stopping and starting to record the sounds for what we can only assume is an upcoming sound pack or enhancement pack.
Armstrong Powerhouse makes sound and enhancement packs for Dovetail Games’ Train Simulator to make the experience as realistic as possible.
On a previous visit, Armstrong Powerhouse visited the Nene Valley Railway to record sounds of 31271.
