Real Time Trains has announced that TransPennine Express has joined its Know Your Train Scheme.
15 months after the Know Your Train scheme began, TransPennine is the last operator in Scotland to join the scheme.
This means that every train service in Scotland will have details of train services, including how many coaches it has, facilities on board, and the allocated train set to operate the service.
TransPennine Express operates services to Edinburgh and Glasgow from Northern England as well as services to York and Scarborough.
Nine mainline train operators are now part of the scheme, including Northern, LNER, ScotRail, c2c, GB Railfreight and Locomotive Services TOC Ltd, with the Swanage Railway becoming the first heritage railway to join the scheme this week.
Real Time Trains says that 45% of all miles covered by rail services are now covered by the Know Your Train scheme.

TransPennine runs services in Northern England as well as trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Scotland is not a country.
It can tell and shows how the formation on this (TPX) can tell and in future terms for anyone including disability people can understand as well as other train companies (already shown) for all.
