Steam locomotive 34046 Braunton to visit Carlisle this Wednesday

Steam locomotive 34046 Braunton will haul ‘The Fellsman’ from Crewe to Carlisle, via Blackburn and Settle this Wednesday, 26th May 2021.

Departing Crewe at 07:50, the train will head through Hartford (08:05), Warrington Bank Quay (08:20), Wigan North Western (08:51), Leyland (09:11), Blackburn (09:39), Langho (09:58), Clitheroe (10:12), Hellifield (11:01), Ribblehead (11:29), Garsdale (11:44), Appleby (12:07), Lazonby & Kirkoswald (12:50) and Carlisle at 13:18.

After two-and-a-half hours in Carlisle, the locomotive will go back the same path as the outbound journey. Departing Carlisle at 15:44, the train will pass through Appleby (16:30), Blea Moor (17:26), Hellifield (17:49), Clitheroe (18:40), Blackburn (19:05), Leyland (19:34), Wigan North Western (19:56), Warrington Bank Quay (20:31), and finally Crewe at 21:26.
