LMS Black 5 steam locomotive No. 45212 will be steaming through Skipton this Friday as it heads for Carnforth.
45212 is leaving the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway after a winter stay for maintenance, thanks to the agreement with Ian Riley and the railway.
The 4-6-0 will depart the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway at 12:31 and will pass through Skipton (12:57), Gargrave (13:03), Hellifield (13:17), Settle Junction (13:25), Carnforth at 14:12 and 14:30 before heading into Carnforth Steamtown at 14:50.
From here, the locomotive will head up to Scotland at a later date for the start of The Jacobite season.
Please note: 45212 will head to Carnforth tender first.
