TransPennine Express’ Interim Managing Director, Liz Collins, will be leaving her role to start a new part-time position with West Coast Partnership as their Finance and Commercial Director.
Liz joined the rail industry 24 years ago at First North Western before moving to First TransPennine Express in 2004 to establish the finance function.
Liz has been the finance director for both TransPennine Express franchises before becoming Interim Managing Director last year.
The replacement Managing Director for Liz is due to be announced soon.
Commenting, Liz Collins said: “This has been my second spell as Interim Managing Director and has been the highlight of my career. I am really pleased to be ending my time with TPE on such a high. This is a great business, with fabulous people, and a really bright future. Over the next few years our exciting plans will continue to deliver for rail passengers in the North and into Scotland.”
