The British Transport Police are investigating an incident at Hull railway station where a member of railway staff was assaulted, and have released images in connection with their investigation.
Around 11:30 am on Monday 29th March, a customer service assistant and members of revenue staff were at the ticket barriers at Hull station checking tickets.
During this time, a man approached a member of staff and asked to purchase a ticket from Brough station.
It was explained to the man that he may not purchase a ticket and will be issued with a penalty fare note.
The man became angry and staff threatening staff before charging through the exit barrier where a member of staff was stood.
He grabbed the staff member and forced her to one side before he fell over, where he got back up and ran out of the station.
Now, officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help them.
