The East Lancashire Railway has announced that Ex-LNER A3 No. 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ will be hauling trains this August and September.
The World Famous locomotive will be hauling trains on the 29th and 30th August, as well as 3rd – 5th September 2021.
Tickets for trains hauled by 60103 Flying Scotsman cost £29.90 for adults and £18.60 for children.
9th April 2021 is the launch date for tickets for the 1.5-hour round trip.
Coronavirus has cancelled previous visits of Flying Scotsman in 2020 and 2021, so this will be great to look forward to as we progress through the year.
If you had a previous ticket booked to travel on Flying Scotsman, then you will receive an email from the East Lancashire Railway.
Since returning to passenger service in 2016, Flying Scotsman has made trips to various heritage railways, such as the East Lancashire Railway and Swanage Railway, as well as hauling a number of tours.

I bet it’ll be jolly enterprising for the East Lancashire Railway, to see the world-famous Flying Scotsman Roam the Rails of the ELR itself, once again… let’s hope it’s another Preservation Highlight for the ELR during 2021.
