British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man that they would like to talk to who may be able to help with their investigations into a robbery on a train in London.
The train was travelling between Wimbledon and Worcester Park railway stations in South West London when the incident occurred.
Around 1.30 pm on Sunday 31st January, the victim was threatened by a man with a knife who said he would stab him if he didn’t hand over his phone.
He handed over his earphones and then the man walked off. He then returned with the same threats and demanded the phone.
The victim offered cash instead, and the man followed the victim to a cashpoint at Worcester park before he ran away.
British Transport Police officers who are investigating the incident believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which would help with there investigation, so if you recognise him, you should get in touch with them.
