Disruption has ended and trains are running normally again

Victoria has been closed whilst the emergency services deal with an ongoing incident.

A train has caught fire at the busy station, meaning the station has been evacuated.

All lines are blocked at the station, and trains are being cancelled or delayed.

Major disruption is expected until 17:00.

As the station is closed, Southeastern is telling passengers not to travel from this station until further notice.

  1. Network rail has announced that they are to plant 80,000 trees to offset the carbon foot print of the rail industry this supported by the government yet standby and allow HS2 to rip up 1000s of trees en route especially locally here in Lowton where the proposed route is straight through a local wood which is less than 20yrs old part of the Red Rose planting scheme.
    Double standards.
