A special fireworks train from Liverpool, Manchester and Preston is having to run in secret due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
At £285 a person, the secret Northern Belle train will run on the 7th November 2020.
However, the organisers are refusing to tell anyone exactly where the display will take place.
The 200 passengers will watch the fireworks display from the comfort of their train seat whilst eating a seven-course dinner with wine.
Previously, the train parked on Arnside Pier to watch the public fireworks display, but for 2020, this has been cancelled.
A spokesman said: “All I can tell you is that it is somewhere in Cumbria.
“Because of social distancing, we want to avoid having large crowds turn up to watch the fireworks.”
“They will be perfectly safe because we have taken various precautions and cut the capacity on the train to maintain social distancing.
“But there were fears that many members of the public could turn up if we revealed the exact location of the fireworks display.
“So I am afraid all I can tell you is that the train will leave Liverpool at 4.55pm on November 7 and then pick up passengers at Manchester at 6.10 and Preston at 7.05. It is due back in Preston at five minutes past midnight,
“Where it will be between those times is top secret. It’s our own Gunpowder Plot to keep everybody safe!”
“We always made a generous contribution towards the costs but this year that has been cancelled because of Covid.
“We still wanted the evening to go with a bang – and a few rockets! – so we arranged an alternative private display which we hope will be just as much fun for our passengers.”
