Steam locomotive 6201 Princess Elizabeth will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in , Blackburn and on Saturday 19th September 2020.

The Princess locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow. 6201 Princess Elizabeth is hauling The Northern Belle on Saturday.

We believe this tour to be hauled by 6201 Princess Elizabeth. However, this can change at short notice.

6201 Princess Elizabeth will depart Lancaster at 09:23 and will then pass through Preston (09:50), Blackburn (10:28), Clitheroe (10:50), Hellfiield (11:19), Horton-in-Ribblesdale (12:12), Ribblehead (12:23), Langwathby (13:18), and Carlisle at 14:05.

After around two hours in Carlisle, 6201 will depart at 16:14 and will pass through Penrith North Lakes (16:38), Oxenholme Lake District (18:34), Carnforth D&UGL (18:51 – 6201 replaced by diesel here), Lancaster (20:13), and Preston at 20:42.
