UPDATE: Reports are suggesting 35018 British India Line will return solo
The tour WILL head to Scarborough
Steam locomotive No.45562 Alberta and 35018 British India Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Keighley and York on Saturday 26th September 2020.
The Jubilee and Merchant Navy locomotives are hauling The Lunes Rivers Trust, which originates in Carnforth.
The outbound leg of the railtour will be hauled by 35018 solo. Departing Carnforth at 07:35, the locomotive will pass through Wennington (07:54), Bentham (08:07), Hellifield (08:37), Gargrave (09:29), Skipton (09:39), Keighley (10:08), Shipley (10:20), Leeds (10:49), Church Fenton (11:10), York (11:26), Malton (11:59), Seamer (12:19) and Scarborough at 12:30.
Meanwhile, 45562 Alberta will make her way from the National Railway Museum (11:39), and will head through York (11:54 and 12:18), Malton (12:53), Seamer (13:14), Scarborough (13:23) and Scarborough Excursion Sidings (13:36).
The return journey, with both 45562 Alberta and 35018 British India Line will depart Scarborough at 15:50 and will then pass through Seamer (15:56), Malton (16:11), York (16:38), Church Fenton (16:54), Micklefield (17:19), Leeds (17:35), Shipley (18:04), Keighley (18:16), Skipton (18:31), Hellifield (18:45), Bentham (19:47), Wennington (19:57) and Carnforth (20:17).
