The Northampton and Lamport Railway has confirmed that they will be reopening to the public on the 2nd August 2020.

A reduced timetable will be in operation, and all visitors to the railway will have to book in advance.

More details will be announced by the railway in due course.

In the meantime, ghost trains will be running; these are a series of refresher trains without passengers to make sure staff are competent in their roles to make sure it is safe to run trains.

The NLR said, “We’re looking forward to seeing everyone soon.”
