LNER has unveiled three region-inspired facemasks that are available online for passengers to order.
The first three designs of the collection celebrate some of the most popular destinations on the LNER route, these being Edinburgh, London and Newcastle.
The reusable facemasks will be available for passengers to purchase from LNER online for use when travelling on train services, where face coverings are now mandatory in England and Scotland.
Proceeds from the facemasks are going to the official LNER charity partner, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
LNER Communications Director, Kate McFerran, said: “We know how passionate our customers and colleagues are about the great towns and cities of the LNER route. Whilst we all adjust to these new ways of going about our daily lives, including using our services, we wanted to ensure that customers and colleagues could travel safely and in style.
“Of course, we’re also interested to see if there’s any regional rivalry when it comes to finding out which is the most popular design.”
