  1. Happy Birthday Cambridge railway station. The station is still beautiful. With Cambridge North that opened in 2017 which serves Chesterton and Cambridge Business Park. And the proposed Cambridge South station to be built that will serve Cambridge Cambridge Biomedical Campus and Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Could Cambridge railway station might be renamed as “Cambridge City” or “Cambridge Central” railway station. Or will it remain as just Cambridge but to serve the City Centre and the University. And to be managed by Greater Anglia or GTR Great Northern.

With a new East-West Rail link to reconnect Cambridge and East Anglia (including Norwich, Ipswich, Bury St. Edmunds and Stansted Airport) with Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and the Cotswolds and West-Country and of course the Midlands. Without having to go via Central London or Peterborough.
