Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Telford Steam Railway has confirmed that their Polar Express 2020 trains have been postponed until 2021.
The board feels it would be irresponsible for the railway to put lives at risk, and would also want visitors to have a full experience without any restrictions.
Other railways may still run Polar Express trains, but this is still to be confirmed elsewhere.
Due to the size of the Telford Steam Railway, they cannot run large enough trains to offset the financial impact like other railways can.
The Telford Steam Railway said: “We thank you for your support and hope you all stay safe through these troubled times. We hope to see you next year where we hope to be in a position to relaunch the Polar Express to be even bigger and better. Most importantly stay safe.”
