Bahamas Locomotive Society set to support new railway photographer competition

The Rail Camera Club is organising the Young Railway Photographer Of The Year allowing young photographers to showcase their work.

The competition is being supported by Network Rail, The , Jessops Europe Limited, Mortons Media, Bauer Media, TimeLine Events and the .

Pictures taken since the 1st January 2019 should illustrate the current railway scene and should include a variety of scenes, including steam electric and diesel.

There are two categories:

  • Category One: Photographers under 18
  • Category Two: Photographers between 19 and 25

Entries are required to submit a portfolio of six images based on the theme and should be submitted to their website here before the closing date of 1st November 2020.

  1. This part of West Yorkshire and it’s Tourism Industry needs this Scenic Branch Line Heritage Railway, especially as it’s forever part of the UK Preservation Movement/Sector (even in my book).

  2. Let’s Hope this’ll help combat/fight back this dreary pandemic and to helpfully save the whole entire ”Eagerly-Must-Revisit” Keighley & Worth Valley Railway from all this and for Future Generations Too.

    I have hopeful faith that this’ll helpfully secure the KWVR’s Future and Remain Forever Preserved.
