What did the officials say?

David Horne, Managing Director at LNER, said:

“We are excited to be doubling our weekday services between and thanks to the introduction of our state-of-the-art Azuma fleet.

“Home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites, beautiful countryside and a rich mix of cultures, Bradford is a fantastic destination and we are delighted that these new services will make it even easier for people to come and enjoy everything the region has to offer.

“Our extra Azuma services will give businesses in Bradford a boost to connectivity both with the capital and destinations along our East Coast route.”

  1. I’ll believe this when the National Timetable is published- it should have been ready before 23 February! Why hasn’t it? I’m fearing ‘issues’ like in 2018!

  2. A new London King’s Cross-Bradford Forster Square direct service is such a great idea so yes well done LNER. Also LNER is to introduce a new direct service to Huddersfield and hopefully new direct services to Harrogate, Scarborough, Middlesborough, Hartlepool, Redcar, Whitby, Battersby and Stockton.
