It has been confirmed that a points failure has occurred between Colne and Rose Grove, and means the line is closed.

Gannow Junction is where the line splits to allow trains to head to either Burnley Manchester Road, and onto Bradford, Leeds and York, or head down the Colne branch to Burnley Central, Brierfield, Nelson and Colne.

Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 16:00 12/03.

Staff are en-route to try and rectify the fault.
