Network Rail should do a program about the overhead wiring renewals in East London and Essex (Great Eastern Main Line including at Ilford, Romford, Shenfield and Chelmsford) and on the Southend Victoria Line (including at Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford, Southend Airport, Prittlewell and Southend Victoria) as they are replacing 1950s overhead wires that are due to be replaced by new overhead wires and new overhead stanchions, gantries and masts erected on those lines. And they are also due to replace overhead wires at Stratford probably at Easter. If not been postponed because of the Coronavirus outbreak.
I have to admit that the program was very good, full of interesting information and facts. I’ve watched Part 1 of The Station: Trouble on the Tracks few days ago and Part 2 yesterday on ITV iPlayer. As I’m self-isolating myself because of the Coronavirus outbreak. Very good program. Can’t wait for Part 3 next Thursday.
