The Epping Ongar Railway, based in Essex, has announced a new ‘All Day Dining’ ticket for its Mother’s Day special trains.
The new ticket allows for a full day travelling onboard the special steam train.
Included in the package are Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Tea.
The food will be served along with onboard entertainment from magician John Clayton.
The Mother’s Day specials run on 22 March from North Weald Station, with a connecting bus available to Epping. Tickets are priced at £99 for an ‘All Day Dining’ ticket.
For information about the food being served the Epping Ongar Railway told us:-
All meals include a complementary glass of Prosecco or juice on arrival. The menus have been selected to cater for all tastes and include exciting items such as Avocado, Basil, Sun-blush Tomato & Spinach filled roll in the brunch. The lunch menu offers a tasty chicken, sage and pancetta ballotine and trio of desserts whilst afternoon tea provides a selection of classic sandwiches such as coronation chicken, humous, grated carrot and corriander along a wonderful selection of cakes and scones.
If you cannot make the whole day, then the Epping Ongar railway is also selling each of the Mother’s Day food/train options as a separate package.

Dean Walton, General Manager said,
“We started planning for Mother’s Day last September and it is really exciting to see them come to fruition. We are offering a unique Mother’s Day Experience which combines a heritage bus service, steam-hauled train and wonderful food served on board convenient for people living in Essex and London. If you can move after this feast there is a connecting bus service to Epping.”
