This is why East Croydon station always gets busy and overcrowded with Southern and Thameslink trains serving East Croydon as commuter use their trains to commute into London. West Croydon also gets as busy but is lot smaller than East Croydon and London Overground trains from Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction terminate at West Croydon. If East Croydon was to be redeveloped and with more extra platforms been built. Then London Overground could allow their trains to terminate at East Croydon as well at West Croydon.
