Coronavirus to blame as Mid Norfolk Railway postpones diesel gala

Mid Norfolk Railway run first public trains on extension

The Mid Norfolk Railway has announced that they have postponed their diesel gala in 2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The railway has been monitoring the situation and the government’s guidelines surrounding the Coronavirus.

The has therefore taken the decision to postpone their Diesel Gala in April, to the weekend of 3rd, 4th, 5th, July.

This, therefore, means that the railway will be closed on the 3rd of April 2020.

Apart from the gala, the railway is currently running as usual. An update will be published if anything else changes.

  1. I think the Coronavirus is affected business on railways very hard. So sad to see this been affected because of the dreadful disease that came from Wuhan, China.
