60009 Union of South Africa approaching Hellifield

Ex-LNER A4 No. 60009 Union of South Africa will be heading for York this Saturday.

60009 will be hauling The Yorkshireman, which runs from Ealing Broadway to York.

Departing Ealing Broadway at 06:36, the train will pass through Acton Main Line (06:40), St Albans (07:44), Luton (08:03), Bedford (08:32), Kettering (09:13), Oakham (10:26), Melton Mowbray (10:40), Loughborough (11:07), Ilkeston (11:34), Chesterfield (12:06), Moorthorpe (13:15), Church Fenton (13:37) and York at 14:09.

Diesels will replace 60009 for the return journey. Departing York at 17:10, they will call at Chesterfield (18:25), Ilkeston (18:53), Melton Mowbray (19:43), Kettering (20:28), Bedford (21:03), Luton (21:33), St Albans (21:56) and Ealing Broadway at 22:44.
