Greater Anglia has announced that a new waiting room installed at Harlow Town will bring benefits to rail passengers.
The train operator has converted an open seating area on the overbridge at the station into an enclosed waiting room with seating and charging points.
The new facility also benefits from a train departure summary screen, new flooring and efficient heating.
Harlow Town station welcomed around 1 million people last year.

What did the officials say?
Simone Bailey, Greater Anglia‘s Asset Management Director, said,
“The aim was to deliver a warmer, more comfortable and easily accessible waiting room for our passengers.
“Investing in upgrades to stations across the network is extremely important to Greater Anglia, demonstrating our commitment to providing excellent facilities and service to our customers.”
