British Transport Police have released images of a woman following an assault on a ScotRail train travelling near Dalmuir.

The train was travelling from Dalmuir to Motherwell in Scotland.

The incident happened on Saturday 21 December 2019 on the 11.03 pm service as the train passed between Dalmuir and Carmyle stations.

Police believe the woman in the images may have information that can help them with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 743 of 21/12/19.
