The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway has released an update on the work to replace Bridge 11, located near Ingrow West.
Up until the end of January, there weren’t many signs to the general public of the bridgework, despite publicity and the £150,000 appeal to fund Bridge 11’s replacement.
That all changed on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th January when the new bridge was delivered to Ingrow.
The eight parts were then moved by rail to sit alongside the tracks ready for major work to take place in late March.
The major work will see the 115-year-old bridge removed, and a new bridge will be craned into place.
