Due to a delay in the introduction of new trains for TransPennine Express routes, the introduction of the December timetable has been pushed back again.

Originally, the amendments were in place until the end of January, however, the amendments will now operate until the end of service on the 1st February 2020.

This change affects some train services from Liverpool Lime Street, , Newton-le-Willows, , Stalybridge, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Leeds, , Thirsk, , Darlington, Durham, , Newcastle, Morpeth and Edinburgh.

The amendments mean a number of TransPennine Express services between Liverpool Lime Street and Edinburgh have been temporarily withdrawn from the timetable.

  1. Transpennine Express needs to do more to improve their services. Since they ordered new trains to improve services across the North of England. Don’t understand why they had to delay the timetable.
