East Lancs introduces Britannia weekend with special steam locomotive visitor

The East Lancashire Railway has announced a new event for April 2020, featuring a special guest locomotive.

The heritage railway, based in Bury, Greater Manchester, will be holding its Britannia: Best Of British Weekend on the 10th – 13th April 2020.

Special guest steam locomotive, 70000 Britannia, will be visited the railway to celebrate everything British.

The BR Standard Class 7 visits thanks to Icons of Steam and the Royal Scot Locomotive General Trust.
