Emergency services are dealing with a trespass incident at Chatham, Kent, which means that all trains approaching the station are at a stand.
The power to the lines through Chatham has had to be switched off due to this incident.
It is anticipated that disruption will continue until 21:00.
Thameslink trains are unable to run between Rochester and Rainham. Replacement buses have been requested, which are due to arrive at 17:15 – they will not run to a timetable, but are under control of station staff. In addition to this, tickets will be accepted on Southeastern services.
Southeastern trains are unable to run between Rochester and Gillingham. Southeastern are running replacement buses between Strood and Gillingham, and plan to extend buses to run between Gravesend and Gillingham, and between Gravesend and Swanley.
You may use your ticket on the following alternative services at no extra charge to help you complete your journey:
- Fastrack buses between Ebbsfleet, Dartford and Gravesend
- London Underground between Southeastern London terminal stations
- Southeastern High Speed services
