UPDATED: Broken down train causes delays to Cardiff trains

Transport for Wales (TfW) Class 170 in Cardiff

A train has broken down at Lisvane & Thornhill and is now causing delays between Bargoed and .

Trains may be delayed or cancelled until 13:00.

To help with passengers with their journey, tickets will be accepted on Bus via any reasonable route.

Road transport will shuttle between:

  • Between Ytsrad Mynach and Cardiff Central (operated by Ferris Holidays)
  • Between Lisvane & Thornhill and Cardiff Central (operated by Wheadons Group Travel)
  • Between Llanishen and Cardiff Central (operated by Wheadons Group Travel)
