The Watercress Line has announced that tickets for passengers to ride behind the Flying Scotsman in 2020 have sold out.
Due to popular demand, the ticket to ride behind the famous locomotive have now run out, with no space for any more coaches and/or trains.
However, tickets for other Flying Scotsman experiences are going to be announced soon, so make sure you keep an eye on the Watercress Line’s website for more details (click here).
In February 2020, the A3 class locomotive will be visiting the heritage railway in Hampshire. Visitors will be able to travel behind her on 14th and 29th February, and 1st, 7th and 8th March.
This is the first time that the A3 has visited the Watercress Line.

Could you not have mentioned in the article that Flying Scotsman is visiting the MHR to celebrate the reopening of the Medstead to Alton section after a year out of action? That’s kind of the point…
