As 2019 draws to a close its competition time! Plus a look back on RailAdvent and also look forward to 2020. (Competition entry form is towards the end of this article)

RailAdvent is growing every day, and each month now passes the last based on views. We had a superb 2018 with 2,570,000 views, however, we have well exceeded that with over 7,000,000 views so far in 2019.

Having looked at the web stats, being number 1* in the UK means we now have a larger web presence than any of the other popular railway magazines. Not a mean feat I’m sure you will agree!

RailAdvent is currently working on a number of projects to make our website the only website you need for everything railway, for example, in 2019, we introduced our Steam Locos on the Mainline page, which has gone down an absolute treat with our viewers.

News continues to roll out on the website, with now 5 authors ready to write as they come in.

LocoStop, our social network, continues to grow, with photos rolling in for people to see, if you haven’t already, take a look today, it’s similar to Facebook, but integrated into the RailAdvent website.

The future, therefore, looks very bright for RailAdvent. We can’t wait to see what it holds for us.
