The Holden F5 Locomotive Trust has released its 2019 review and progress made on the construction on the new build F5.
The frame plates and motion bracket have been shot blasted and CNC machined. They have been temporally assembled and delivered to Tyseley Locomotive Works for final assembly.
The driving wheels have been fully paid for, costing £38,000 for the pattern and casting of all the wheels. Delivery should take place in late February 2020.
Fundraising for the flanges, axels, axle boxes and horn guides are continuing to receive donations and pledges.
