Southeastern has announced that Gillingham depot’s much-loved cat that they adopted has gone missing.
The cat is called ‘Tripod’ because he only has three legs. The staff raised the alarm as he hasn’t been seen for two days.
Tripod went missing on Thursday afternoon. If anyone has seen him, the staff at Gillingham depot in kent are asking for people to contact them.
If any railway staff, local passengers or the local vets see an errant ginger tom that has a reflective yellow collar, plus missing a hind leg to inform the staff if found somewhere or if the cat has had an accident.
Please let’s help find the Southeastern missing cat ‘tripod’
What did the officials say?
Nathan Dove, Production Delivery Engineer at Southeastern’s Gillingham train depot said:
“It’s really unlike Tripod not to make his presence known around the depot. We’ve checked all the usual places, including our yard, outbuildings and surrounding roads, but unfortunately have had no luck yet.
“He sometimes strays on to the train with the cleaning staff, and we’re wondering if he’s got on the train unnoticed and it has left the yard with him on board.”
