Weekday advance tickets more than halved on Heathrow Express

The which runs between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport has announced that its one-way advance tickets will be available every day of the week from £5.50 one way.

The new could benefit the 5 million passengers who travel Monday to Friday each year.

The new fixed date fares means a weekday ticket could cost less than half the price of the previous weekday tickets, which were between £12.50 and £16.50 depending on how far in advance they were booked

Fares will now be available for £5.50, £7.50, £10.00, £12.50, £15.00 or £16.50 depending on availability.

A new Heathrow Express website and smartphone app were launched earlier this week. The new tickets can be booked via the website or app and an additional 5 languages have been added.
