South Western Railway has announced that four new stores have opened at Richmond station as part of an annual £100,000 investment to develop high-quality retail space.
UK-wide retail outlets, Cards Galore, Digby’s Patisserie and Puccino’s Café, as well as G.R.E.A.T Flowers, are new outlets offering 13 million passengers passing through the station each year a wide range of delicious snacks, food on the run and last minutes gifts.
These new retailers are a part of a near £1m investment by SWR.
The investment will see improvements to shop frontages, new energy efficiency measures, and create extra premises.
In this financial year, no less than 12 stations will receive investment:
- Chessington North
- Farncombe
- Richmond
- Sunningdale
- Claygate
- Haslemere
- Shanklin
- Teddington
- Eastleigh
- Portsmouth and Southsea
- Staines
- Vauxhall
