Passengers will soon be benefitting from more regular train services on the to Euston route.

From Sunday 17 November, (TfL) will start to run four trains per hour (approximately every 15 minutes) throughout the day.

This boost in capacity and frequency builds on the four trains per hour service which has been operating during the morning and evening peak since September.

These additional services are possible due to the ongoing introduction of ‘s new Class 710 electric trains on the route.

What did the officials say?

Rory O’Neill, TfL’s General Manager for Overground, said:

“A more frequent service on the London Overground Watford Junction to Euston route will benefit customers whenever they are travelling. Providing a train every 15 minutes all day will offer greater capacity and make it even easier to get around.”

  1. London Overground might as well start introducing the Class 710/1 AC units on the Liverpool St-Chingford, Cheshunt and Enfield Town (Lea Valley) routes and the Romford-Upminster line. Hopefully introduce the AC Class 710/1s in Late November/Early December. Or in January 2020.
