British Transport Police detectives are appealing for witnesses after an assault at Thornaby station, North Yorkshire, which left a man with serious injuries.
On 9th November at around 6.45 am, two men left a Middlesbrough bound train and were walking out of Thornaby station when one man punched the other.
The man continued to walk out of the station, leaving the victim, unconscious on the floor until an ambulance arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital where he remains, having suffered a serious head injury.
A 39-year-old man was arrested in connection to the incident and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
